REVIEW OF MY POEM A LOOK AT LIFE-43

Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, eminent poet and literary critic for writing a beautiful review on my poem 'A LOOK AT LIFE-43'. Thank you very much sir for your wonderful words Smruti Ranjanji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-43"is a poem of nostalgia and the desolation felt due to the disappearance of the good old days, the days of vibrancy and exuberance are gone, now it is a life of alienation, isolation, loneliness, disappointments and disillusionments, today it is all about having a desertion in terms of life, everything seems lost in the wilderness, the glorious days of the past taunt the thought processes like anything, the futility of building a posh house with all facilities and amenities is so apparent now because the expectations and anticipations of the past are so much belied now, those dreams and aspirations are shattered and battered now,the luxurious aspects of the household are left in ruin nowadays, they hold resplendent memories of the

Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil and Prof Sir Mohan Patnaik for writing critical appreciation on my poem 'THE BEAUTY OF LOVE'. Thank you so much adorable literary luminaries for your presence and wonderful words of appreciation. I am honoured. Smrutiji, Your poem titled"The Beauty of Love"is a poem that takes the emotion of love into the domain of sum and substance. The concept of love does have two extremes of joy and sorrow happening to it one after the other. The person who is bitten by the love bugs remains in the whirlpool of emotional turmoil. When, the mind is lost in the wilderness of love, nothing affects the self in any way and at any rate. The love characterised here does have no sign of abating and it is not ridden with guilt whatsoever. The freshness of this love is everlasting and eternal and it does not budge an inch in terms of its practice and existence. The problems, worries and tensions born out of love

Thanks and gratitude to eminent poet and literary critic Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil and Prof Sir Mohan Patnaik for writing critical appreciations on my poem 'RHYMING WITH LOVE' Thank you so much revered Cijo sir and Mohan sir for your wonderful words of appreciation. Smrutji, Your poem titled"Rhyming With Love"is a rendition with adequate description to the minutest details regarding the very concept of love from different perspectives and viewpoints.Real love does adduce the self with that resplendent feeling. The freshness of a person is kept intact internally when true love does have an overwhelming impact on him/her.The true love transcends above space, time, past, present and future. The soundbyte of love is everlasting and enduring. The true love must be nurtured and brought into fruition. If the concept of love is driven by commercial interests,it gets into an arena of no return or it becomes a love of mechanical nature. The true love must be sprouted out directly

SOMETHING I LOOK AT-94 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY         THE BEAUTY OF LOVE the heart sheds tears of love asking none to come near, the soul immerses in deep agony feeling silently the pangs of sorrow the wounds remain as such, fresh, aching and bleeding without being cured and you live in an exclusive world of your own where happiness and sorrow hardly matter that is love more like walking on the edge of a razor with no signs of repentance and sorrow, no looking back, no dreams for a different tomorrow it pinches and pinches hard, but lived and loved the way it is being the only possession you can't part with the wounds and tears the moments of agony and ecstasy your dearest possession they are part of you and your love so dear and passionate no wind can blow it away no sun can dry it, no winter can moist it no rain can drench it, no therapy can cure it it will remain with you as a feeling, a shadow,  and will never leave you even when your love wi

As each and every moment we live in this world, we walk towards our final destination, that is the ultimate truth related to life in general here on this earth. We also live selfish oriented life here on earth focusing upon fickle inclined and fleeting worldly pleasures such as wealth, positions, powers and crude sex. We also act in an impulsive manner showing all our negative vibes and we are also a bundle of egos, complexes, betrayals,

Thank you very much sir for your wonderful words of appreciation Smurti Ranjanji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-13"is a poem that does dwell upon a deeper meaning concerning life in every step of the way,the detachment must be the order of the day to get out of all disillusionments and disappointments in life, the more we are attached, the more unhappiness we would bring into our lives slowly but surely, sometime all the attachments are to be done away with so that we reach that height of self enlightenment in the course of time,in this world today,we do live under the cloud of fear,we apprehend about an era of nasty prospects,we also have fear regarding the things going terribly wrong and we are in the conundrum of such doubts, although we do have fear about things which don't belong to us,though we claim ownershi

Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Chennelil, an eminent poet and literary critic for writing a beautiful critical appreciation on my poem 'SOMETHING I LOOK AT-3'.Thank you very much, sir, for your wonderful analysis and words of appreciation Smurti Ranjan Ji, Your poem titled"Something l look at-3" is a poem on the theme of love and its various dimensions from one end to the next. The concept of love is searched in a holistic manner. Love it seems is isolated, alienated and cornered to a large extent. The search for love is an extensive and exhaustive one stretching from the palaces of the affluent people to the hamlets of the poverty-stricken ones. Sometimes, the concept of love is an evasive and elusive concept, it remains in slippery slope terrines always very difficult to realise it by the pursuers of this beautiful and predominant emotion in the world. True love is present in a place where we have people acting in a self-effacing manner for the sake o

Thanks and gratitude to Prof Dr Rajendra Padhi, eminent poet and literary critic for his wonderful words of appreciation You have the gift of a genuine poet, the simplicity of expression is the vehicle to carry genuine and true feelings which you are bestowed with. The introspective nature of writing speaks a look at life and into its myriad mysteries. The diction is simple and the look at life is always in its most natural perception. To write poetry with out obscure images and phraseology is the art of a true poet. You are one and Alby Raymond Parackal is another who are very true in their words and of my great adoration. The use of images with proper analogy , the proper sequencing of lines, the harmony between feelings and words is the beauty of your poem. The sorry for mindset is quite obvious here, those moments of joy and happiness are bygone things altogether. To secure one's position, mistakes are committed, the reputations of many are destroyed and false accusations are levelled against the pious souls but now the time to be regrettable for all those dubious acts should be opted and taken to its eventual conclusion. The backstabbing and other acts of despicable nature should have been avoided and clear love of humanity shown should have been availed upon, so it is time to seek a new world of righte

THINK ONCE MORE-14

Image
THINK ONCE MORE-14 Life is a complicated mathematic, extremely intricate and deceptive. We spend our entire life on it, making a lot of permutations and combinations, calculating and manipulating the resources at our disposal to gain undue advantages over others. We call it a competition and justify our action in the name of survival of the fittest. In this battle of unequal, innocent people are made scapegoats and their hopes and aspirations are crucified upon a cross of gold. But life defies all calculations and proves all permutation and combination to be awfully inadequate to take care of the intricacies of life. There is a limit to human perception for we do not see what is in store for us. The entire planning may go wrong for the next moment may not be ours. While living a life in the midst of luxury and affluence we should think of others who are barely making their both ends meet for the world is as much theirs as it is ours. Let us realise the stern and naked reality of lif

This love is an evergreen love which never comes to a grinding halt. In fact, it goes on and on without any slackening and hesitancy. Mentally still in the primitive society, It is a battle of each against all Balance of terror Is something we aim at, Intend to have that scenario Where each state strong enough To inflict unacceptable damage upon the other And ensure that each state lives in perpetual Fear of the other. Fear by its very nature Can never be the basis of world peace. Mental peace of the individuals Inhabiting the world Can be the only basis for sustainable peace. The lives we lead in this world are not meant to simply while away rather we need to ponder over their meanings in a substantial and enormous manner. Sometimes, we must be self-introspective and self-retrospective in terms of our lives, we also need to turn to the path of spirituality to understand the mysteries connected with this world. We must not have the notion that this life on this earth is the end of it rather we have to consider it as a platform to reach the perfect abode that is charted out for us there in heaven. This l

Thank you very much, sir, for your beautiful words Smruti Ranjaniji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-8" is a poem that poses questions to the Almighty for the existential dilemmas, we the human beings encounter in our day to day lives here in this world at the present juncture. The poem begins with posing that fundamental question regarding the very purpose of human lives here in this universe, are we here to satiate our desires or are we here to fulfil the material desires of life? The question that is to be asked again here is that what is the meaning of this life here in this world? Do we live in this world for the sake of living or do we have anything else to attain from this life such as spiritual needs and requirements? The pertinent truth is that we are here in the worl

If we go ahead in our lives to seek, to find, not to yield, then successes can be attained out of life because it is not too late to seek a new world. Only through perseverance, hard work, diligence and resilience, the real achievement can be had, mere belief that fortunes can come at the drop of a hat is not ideal at all. It is better to have expectations, but for the fulfilment of those anticipations, we need to work really hard. Only through the hard ways, life can come a full circle wherein all our dreams can be translated into reality one way or the ot

As we go through different phases of life, we come across different circumstances and situations which teach us about various aspects of life one way or other. Whatever, it is, life should be cherished to the hilt because when it is gone, it is the endgame, so whatever good things that we can do in this life, we have to do with atmost earnestness and consideration. From childhood to old age, life teaches us many things, in early childhood we are tinged with innocence, then in the adolescent period,we are prone to the nitty grittes of life culminating in antics of various hues and colours, in the middle age,we function

The individual concerned in the poem regrets about his/her abandonment of God in his/her life here on this earth. God is along with us all in every step of the way, but often we fail to locate his presence in our midst. God is someone who is present when we need or not need him, he takes care of us each and every moment of our lives. God makes his constant presence in our lives from the beginning to the end, at no time, he shows any relenting in his love of us, he creates us and gives us the freedom to be on our own, our creator is such a benevolent figure indeed. The fleeting nature of this world is a certainty which we can't discount at all. Everything in this world is subjected to change, that is the only reality we come across in our lives. The truths and lies also undergo multiple changes as per the transitory nature of society. Our perceptions and assumptions do depend upon the individuals we come across in our lives, often our perceptions are created by the hysteria of the massive media networks spewing out venom on us with their fake and concocted new items. The truths that you perceive as rights may not have any truth in it after all. There are cer
