REVIEW OF MY POEM A LOOK AT LIFE-13

Smurti Ranjanji,
Your poem titled"A Look At Life-13"is a poem that does dwell upon a deeper meaning concerning life in every step of the way,the detachment must be the order of the day to get out of all disillusionments and disappointments in life,the more we are attached,the more unhappiness we would bring into our lives slowly but surely,sometime all the attachments are to be done away with so that we reach that height of self enlightenment in the course of time,in this world today,we do live under the cloud of fear,we apprehend about an era of nasty prospects,we also have fear regarding the things going terribly wrong and we are in the conundrum of such doubts,although we do have fear about things which don't belong to us,though we claim ownership on them,the permanent truth regarding life is that,we need to fade away or wilt out one day,there is no scope for retrieval or respite from it,when the chariot of death arrives to take ownership of us,we need to get an entry into it at any rate,there is no need to be sorry about anything rather go ahead in our lives with enthusiasm,excitement and pleasure,at the end of the day,we shall have the last laugh,when we withdraw to the bed every night,close our account books in such a way that there shouldn't be any illwill towards anyone whatsoever.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of high graded philosophical pedigree.

A LOOK AT LIFE-13

Slowly but surely
i am to detach
from all that I love and fancy
and prepare the body and mind
for the final detachment
to have a hug
with the lady of my life
I am to bid farewell
to all those beautiful moments
and nicest of relationships
which made my life
a heaven on earth
Bit difficult
but worth enduring
for i am never to live
under a shadow and
in perpetual fear of
losing something
which is never mine
It is the go of the world
one who has come
has to go
even the sun and moon
have lives of their own
To lament for something inevitable
is nothing but abuse of life
better to prepare
for that journey
with a smile on lips
with chest up and head high
to have that ultimate romance
with the queen of night
